Apprenticeships

We offer the following apprenticeships:

Cutting machine operator in the fields of turning and milling

During your training at BROSA, learn how to craft precision components made of metal through forming processes such as turning and milling.

During the three and a half year training course, you rotate between theory at the vocational school and practical work in our company. 

You should enjoy technical operations, have good mathematical and technical skills and be good at teamwork.

Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.)

Department of Mechanical Engineering - Design and Development – Mechatronic Systems

The Bachelor of Engineering provides you with specialist skills in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. The transfer of knowledge is optimally supported by taking on projects and challenging tasks in our operations.

Process

During the three-year study (6 semesters), you rotate continuously between the company and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.

While you learn the theory for the studies at the Friedrichshafen location, the practical phase in the company will take place at the Tettnang location. After passing through the assembly and manufacturing departments, you will mainly be active in the construction and development department. 

Prerequisites

In order to complete a dual degree with us, an Abitur (general qualification for university entrance) or equivalent degree is required. We require teamwork skills, strong interest in technology and electronics and a good understanding of mathematics and physics.

Internships and theses

"Developing theories requires sufficient practice" * based on this motto, BROSA provides motivated students the chance complete internships as well as write theses in various areas of the company.

Internships

Our interns work independently and autonomously. We welcome and support the introduction of new ideas as well as creative application of various topics. The internships vary in length and can be adapted to the respective candidates. Depending on the agreement, they can last a week or several months.

Theses

In addition to internships, we also provide topics for theses (Bachelor / Master). We are also open for topic suggestions. In addition to in-depth insight into mechanical engineering, it is possible to write your thesis in a pleasant work atmosphere and with the appropriate support.

 

As an intern and Bachelor / Master student, you are sure to gain interesting insights into electrical engineering and the metalworking field. Use the time between school and higher education as well as during the holidays to advance your future. Then you have a good chance to be our new trainee, student or even employee.
