For our newly created innovation department, we are looking for a committed employee to start as soon as possible for an interface role between design, R&D and digitalisation.
Your Tasks
Technical development and analysis:
- Creation and optimisation of 3D models
- Design and implementation of simulations and analyses using FEM software
- Planning and implementation of experiments and data analyses with systematic error analysis
Innovation management:
- Coordination of innovative research projects with external start-ups and research institutes
- Identification and evaluation of new technologies and their application potential
- Development of prototypes and concepts for new products and solutions
Interface function:
- Communication between different departments (design, manufacturing, assembly, electronics and software development, management)
- Structured documentation and convincing presentation of results to decision-making bodies
- Transfer of innovations into marketable products or processes in cooperation with the specialist departments

Requirements
Professional qualifications:
- Sound knowledge of 3D design programmes, ideally SolidWorks
- Proven experience in FEM analysis, ideally Ansys
- Basic understanding of experimental data analysis, statistics and error analysis
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation or industrialisation would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language would be an advantage
- English skills desirable

- Strong curiosity and openness to new technologies
- Initiative and ability to independently familiarise yourself with new topics
- Analytical thinking and the drive to get to the bottom of new issues
- Excellent communication skills and team orientation
